Happy, Hardworking, and
Designed to Be Lived In

This kitchen was designed for someone who loves to cook, entertain, and often has a house full of guests ranging from toddlers and teens to adults. It’s naturally the space where everyone gathers, so it needed to be spacious and hardworking while still feeling fun and comfortable.

Soft blue cabinetry brings in a subtle coastal feel without leaning themed. The large round table with ample seating in the bay window is perfect for conversation. The cascading sphere chandelier above and colorful dining chairs bring personality and energy. The original arch detail frames the space and adds character you can’t replicate.

To warm the space, we refinished the existing wood beam and added an antique baker’s table turned coffee bar, helping the space feel layered and collected. Black rope stools ground the palette while staying relaxed and comfortable, especially for sandy post-beach drop-ins. A black cabinet adds real storage, and wide plank wood floors keep everything warm and comfortable underfoot.

The result is a kitchen that feels genuinely happy to be in, to cook in, and is now everyone’s favorite place in the home.
